After 7 months of cold storage, I finally got my bike out for service to ride for World Aids Day today. I have no clue how many people but there are sure a LOT. It is great to see so many people supporting a good cause.
The ride was annouced as 30km, mini Ride for Life. We had police escort. How grand :). I think everyone was quite gear up to ride. The ride turn out to be a real serious Sun Coffee Ride. It was really Kool. The speed never went above 24km. A totally new perspective to riding :). You get to do catch up with friend, yaking away from one to another. No worries about following tulips or getting lost. I had fun seeing my cycling friends after a long time, play catching up…Of course also the honour to ride with one of my rpm mentor Lynn. Hopefully, we will resume riding after this

thanks to adrian for the photo

TriKidz Clinic, organized by a bunch of sports & triathlon enthusiasts will be on this Sat. The response has been exciting. More than 100 kids. You go parents. I wish the kids who are participating in this clinic a tremendously good & fun time. May you fall in love with Sports & Sun.
Of coz, to the organizing team, may your excellent effort reap a huge SUCCESS and Trikidz live on

World Aids Day 2008
Stop Aids. Keep the promise. That’s the slogan for this year’s World Aids Day, which is still building on the theme of ‘leadership’ as per last year. And in case you are wondering, this theme is actually a call to leaders and decision makers to deliver on their promise on Aids, which includes the provision of universal access to treatment, care, support and prevent service by the year 2010.This year’s commemoration will be held at Berjaya Times Square a day earlier on Nov 30. The ‘Mini Ride for Life’, which is sort of like a cycling for awareness activity going around Bukit Bintang, will kick start the day at 7am. Don’t miss the ‘One Life’ exhibition where you walk through a display of images donning headphones. A person living with HIV/AIDS will narrate his life and react to the images as seen through his eyes.
On top of that, people living with HIV/AIDS have also put together a play titled ‘Fallen Leaves’. And don’t miss the ‘condom dress’ walking down the runway during the closing fashion show.
